Product Description
Western Protein Marker Ⅹ is a prestained mixture of ten high-purity recombinant proteins (no His-tag), The bands display in Tris-Glycine gel range from 10-180 kDa (~10, ~15, ~25, ~35, ~40, ~55, ~70, ~100, ~130, ~180 kDa). The 180, 130, and 100 kDa protein bands are blue bands, the 70 kDa, 55 kDa, 40 kDa, and 10 kDa protein bands are rose-red bands, and the 35, 25, and 15 kDa bands are purple bands. which is convenient for monitoring of electrophoresis and transfer efficiency. It is suitable as a protein molecular weight standard for SDS-PAGE and Western Blot.
Shipping and Storage Conditions
Ship with wet ice; Store at -20℃, valid for 12 months.
Instructions for Use
- This product is ready to use with no heating, diluting or additional reducing agent necessary. Thaw at room temperature and mix gently and thoroughly.
- Take 2-10 μL (G2091) and samples for protein electrophoresis; It is suggested that qualified laboratories can determine the appropriate sample volume by their own experimental conditions and habits when using this product for the first time, which can not only save costs, but also obtain better experimental figures.
- Prestained Protein Marker Ⅹ should be stored at -20℃ immediately after use.(Suggest packaging and storing 20 μL for use)
Note
- Do not boil the protein marker, which can lead to degradation or decolourisation of protein bands.
- Extend the transfer time or increase the transfer current for Western blot of large molecular weight proteins.
- The molecular weight of the reference prestained protein in the figure is calibrated from the molecular weight of the non-prestained protein.
- In different gel and buffer liquid systems, the mobility of pre stained protein bands will be different. When judging the size, the corresponding system indicator size should be selected. The difference in gel concentration does not affect the size of prestained protein bands.
- There may be batch differences in each band of pre stained protein markers, and the batch differences should be controlled within 5%.
- This Prestained Protein Marker can tolerate washing with antibody eluent (or membrane regeneration solution).
- This Prestained Protein Marker can be stored at room temperature for ≥ 20 days; Store at 2-8 ℃ for ≥ 2 months; Store at -20 ℃ for ≥ 12 months.
- For your safety and health, please wear safety glasses, gloves, or protective clothing.
