Product Introduction
Magnetic stir bar (also called rotor) with magnetic stirrer is used for liquid mixing. It stirs the solution or mixture in the container by magnetic action for fast and uniform mixing and dissolving. The surface is smooth, high wetting and non-stick, resistant to high and low temperature and chemical corrosion.
Magnetic stir bar usually consist of two parts: an electric motor and a magnetic stirrer. The electric motor generates a rotating magnetic field, while the magnetic stirrer consists of magnets with permanent magnetic stir bar. When the magnetic stir bar is placed inside the vessel, the magnetic stir bar will rotate rapidly at the bottom of the vessel by the action of the rotating magnetic field, thus achieving stirring of the solution or mixture.
It can be used with Servicebio magnetic stirrer. (Heated Magnetic Stirrer (Intelligent Heating Type) SMS-200A, Magnetic Stirrer (Intelligent Type) SMS-200)
The magnetic stir bar has the following advantages:
